Character: Elizabeth "Sissi" Delmas
Timeline: During the episode "Wreck Room", prior to XANA's attack.
Personality: While spoiled and selfish, and usually mean to other people, Sissi is still a kind person underneath her outward behavior. In troubling situations, she very often shows her compassionate side, and does her best to help in any way she can, even helping those she normally doesn't get along with. For instance, she usually doesn't treat her groupies Herve and Nicholas with alot of respect. But when they were trapped by electricity in the cafeteria alongside other students, Sissi comforted a hysterical Herve and offered to hold his hand. On another occasion, she fiercely protected Milly, a younger girl and normal victim of Sissi's bullying, from a group of XANA's "zombies".
Sissi is considered very beautiful and admired by many of the boys in her grade. She has become well aware of this, and as a result is quite conceited about her appearance. Although she could have just about any boy, the only one she wants is Ulrich, the one who is always out of reach.
Sissi is a very determinned and stubborn person, who seldom gives up on getting what she wants, even if it's through underhanded means. She wants to know what the secret Ulrich and his friends are keeping is, and has tried to find out through many different means. She's blackmailed Ulrich, pressed Jeremie for details, and stalked Yumi and William (actually a digital clone of William) in order to find out.
Although she does poorly in academic studies, often giving off the impression of being ditzy, she can be very clever when she puts her mind to it. She also has a sharp, sarcastic sense of humor that she usually uses to play off of Odd Della Robia's. It's been hinted several times that the two of them may have feelings for each other than neither are truly aware of.
Background: Sissi Delmas is a fourteen-year old girl who attends Kadic Academy, a private boarding school in France. Her father is Jean-Pierre Delmas, the principal of the school, who is known to spoil his daughter and give her special treatment apart from other students.
While Sissi was spoiled and used to having her way, she was never really mean until Ulrich, the boy she had a crush on, ostracized her from him and his group of friends for seemingly no reason. In truth, the reason was that she had been a part of the group when they discovered Lyoko but, after swearing to secrecy, told her father about it when she was attacked by XANA and feared that if she didn't tell, her new friends would be in danger. Jeremie activated a Return to the Past, which wiped the memories of the adults and Sissi. While the group agreed not to tell Sissi about their secret afterward, it was Ulrich, not knowing why Sissi did what she did and feeling betrayed, that insisted on rudely ostracizing her from them completely, which hurt Sissi deeply.
After this, Sissi became bitter and determined to have revenge on Ulrich and his friends, while compensating by acquiring "friends" of her own, her former stalkers Nicholas and Herve, and became a school bully in order to avoid dealing with her insecurities. Deep down, though, she still wishes she was a part of Ulrich and his friends' group, although she doesn't quite know why. She has executed a variety of schemes to expose the secret of Ulrich's group and blackmail them with it, but has never succeeded.
Another goal of Sissi's is to become Ulrich's girlfriend. Despite her antagonism toward him, Sissi is still hopelessly in love with him and always tries to put aside her grudge to convince him to go out with her, which never works out. She's resorted to several tactics to get Ulrich to date her: stealing his diary and blackmailing him with it, bribing him with tickets to a concert, and even taking advantage of Ulrich when he had amnesia by claiming she was his girlfriend.
As time goes on, the relationship between her and Ulrich's group of friends begins to thaw out, to the point where they are less confrontational to one another and are frequently friendly and civil in their interactions. This likely stems from the various times during XANA'S attacks where Sissi ends up being an ally to them, and while Sissi doesn't remember these, the group does and repays her for them in kind. There have also been occasions where Sissi has helped even when the situation wasn't a XANA attack and she ends up remembering the lended assistance, such as the time where she posed as Yumi for school pictures in Yumi's absence, even at the cost of embarassment for herself.
In terms of individual relationships, it varies. Aelita and Sissi have a largely unantagonistic relationship, as Sissi only bullied Aelita early on in Aelita's stay at Kadic before backing down. Afterwards they have usually always been civil to one another, with Aelita vocally pointing out that Sissi is really a good person several times.
With both Jeremie and Yumi, the antagonism mostly comes from Sissi, as Jeremie and Yumi are usually content with ignoring her. Jeremie is far too busy with other matters to really care about Sissi either way, and Yumi, as the oldest and most mature of the group, ignores Sissi because she knows there's little sense in fighting with her. And despite having feelings for Ulrich, Yumi very rarely shows jealousy toward Sissi, mainly because she knows full well there's little to no chance of Ulrich ever returning Sissi's feelings. Whenever Sissi is respectable or friendly toward Yumi, Yumi is shown to be more than willing to return the favor.
As stated before, Sissi is heads-over-heels in love with Ulrich, yet at the same time antagonizes him over the bitterness she feels toward him for excluding her from his social circle. Ulrich initially dislikes Sissi because of the percieved betrayal of him and his group by her. This is ironic, as when Sissi was with the group, Ulrich showed nothing but annoyance toward her, indicating that Ulrich keeps his real feelings hidden and actually did care for Sissi enough that it hurt when he thought she turned on him and the others. As time goes on and Ulrich becomes more aware of his own faults, he begins to understand that his treatment of Sissi is wrong and starts acting nicer toward her, and tries to turn her advances away as politely as he can rather than being mean and dismissive about it.
Sissi's relationship with Odd is perhaps the most complicated. On the surface, it's pure antagonism, with them both utilizing their sarcasm and humor to hurl insults at each other. However, before Sissi was ostracized from the group, Odd actually had a small crush on her and worked well together with her when trying to retreive his dog, who had been taken by Ulrich without permission. When Ulrich shunned Sissi away and she swore revenge, Odd was the only one to show regret. On more than one occasion, Odd ends up having to acknowledge that he and Sissi have more in common than he gives credit for. And on rare occasion, the facade slips and Odd hints that he still has feelings for Sissi. Sissi as well has shown, usually during XANA attacks, that she cares about Odd too, though whether she has the same feelings for him deep down that he does for her is unclear.
Abilities/Additional Notes: Sissi doesn't like to do manual labor or physical work outside of cheerleading. However, in an effort to impress Ulrich, she took up lessions in the Penchat Silak style of martial arts. She is also very skilled with modern, everyday technology, but clueless when it comes to technology of more complex, scientific use. Sissi has an impeccable taste in fashion and is usually the first to start wearing the hottest new trend.

Um, hello? Is this thing on? Oh, good, it is.
OK, whoever's listening out there, listen up! We have a serious problem going on around this place. There are people here who have no idea what the appropriate kind of fashion is! They're wearing clothes that have been out of date for ages! And I'm not even kidding...AGES!
Clearly, something has to be done! I'm offering classes to any one of these poor things that need a lesson in modern fashion. I'll even supply them with new clothes that, while they won't be on par with mine, will at least bring these people closer to this century. So, who wants in?
Sample RP: "Paradise", they call it...HA! Sissi was not having pleasant thoughts as she walked along further down. She had never walked this far or this long in her life. If she had to calculate, she was certain that she'd walked the length of four Kadic Academies by now!
As she wiped the sweat from her forehead, Sissi began to mumble to herself. "Why me? Why did this have to happen? How could any God do something so cruel to me?" she whined. "Was I just too beautiful for my world? Did I have to be transferred here instead so other girls back on Earth could have a chance?"
And then she saw it, just beyond the horizon. "Oh, thank goodness! Finally!" Sissi squealed in delight. The Spa! Forgetting all about how exhausting walking had been, Sissi broke out into a run. She had a date with the care she deserved.
